Nominate a Charity
Please complete and submit the nomination form at least 1 week prior to the meeting. If you are making a Nomination as part of a team, each team may only submit one nomination per meeting and only one member per team can present to the group if this charity is selected. The nominating member will present at the meeting.
In order for the Nomination to be considered, the member must be current with their contributions. In addition, the organization must service the City of Kawartha Lakes and be a registered charitable organization (able to provide tax receipts for donations). Registered organizations can be found on the CRA website. The charity must also be previously established (no start-ups). No national or international charities, programs or organizations will be considered at this time as the current focus is on contributing to our local community. An organization that is selected for group donation may not be considered again until 24 months have passed.
